Vidarbha Literary Foundation (VLF) and Balmitra Foundation have joined hands to promote book reading amongst school going children in Nagpur through an aptly named program - *Lit*Spark*. We select international best-seller books with inspiring storyplots centered around young children and engage the students in thoughtfully crafted activities that bring out the essence of the book and also provide students with meaningful skills such as public speaking, vocabulary development, researching, practical computing and much more. Our pilot *Lit*Spark* project is beginning on 12th July 2025 at the Sanskar Vidya Sagar school, Nandanvan, Nagpur (https://svsnagpur.edu.in/). We are very grateful to  (Director - Asha Kamath mam) and Principal (Deshpande mam), teaching staff of the school for providing us a dedicated time slot - every saturday to engage with the wonderful and enthusiastic children of their school!
