Balmitra works in two focus areas;

1​) Pediatric surgical program: Surgeons and medical team(on Balmitra board and panel) provide high quality & timely pediatric surgical treatment. The beneficiaries are children from needy background/rural of Nagpur, Chandrapur (Maharashtra state) and even adjoining states like Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. 

2) Practical Computing program: Tech enthusiasts teach youngsters to work with computers in a completely practical manner. From basic office productivity software to the Internet to beginning programming, the practical model of teaching computers ensures that attendees graduate with solid skills.
